University Profile

The colors of the Isabela State University are more than just visual identifiers- they represent the vibrant tapestry of the institution’s profound commitment and connection to the Cagayan Valley. The University is identified by four institutional colors, the first two of which serve as the institution’s primary identifiers:
 
  • ISU Green (“Abundant Green” PANTONE 18-6026 TCX | HEX #006439) which is the primary color of the University.

Representing the Nature and Life. It signifies the ecological richness of Isabela and the lush  landscapes of the Cagayan Valley. ISU Green symbolizes the university’s deep-rooted commitment to nature and environmental stewardship. It reflects the institution’s origins in agriculture and forestry, signifying growth and nurturing sustainability.

  • ISU Yellow (“Empire Yellow” PANTONE 14-0756 TCX | HEX #f7d000), which is approximating the radiance of “gold”.
Representing Hope and Illumination to the People. ISU Yellow shines as a tribute to People. It represents the “golden harvest” of human potential—illuminating and giving hope to the students, faculty, and community partners as the University expands its reach and influence across the nation.
The other two colors are complementary to the University’s primary colors:
 
  • ISU Red (“Flame Scarlet” PANTONE 18-1662 TXC | HEX #cd202b)
Representing Passion and the Fire of Entrepreneurship. ISU Red captures the energy, passion, and bold spirit of Entrepreneurship. Red symbolizes the “bloodline” of commerce and the courage that ISU instills to its learners, researchers, and extensionists towards transforming ideas into viable ventures that uplift the regional economy.
  • ISU Blue (“Bellwether Blue” PANTONE 19-3943 TXC | HEX #23305b)
Representing Integrity and Truth thru Education and Innovation. ISU Blue symbolizes the stability of the education provided by ISU, making Innovation a possibility. As the color reflects a calm and professional tone, it represents the University’s pursuit of intellectual depth in harmonizing modern technology in finding smart solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.

Collectively, these colors illustrate that ISU is grounded in its heritage yet soaring toward the future. By blending the organic (Green and Yellow) with the strategic (Red and Blue), the University maintains a balanced approach to regional development and academic prestige.
