Mandate of the Office

The OVPSF supports the University in the development of the University Strategic Plan. Thus, it provides technical support for the planning process in all operating units of the university system to ensure that they are in conformity with the University’s Vision, Mission, and Goals. Moreover, it develops and maintains a systematic monitoring and evaluation of the status of implementation of all approved programs, projects, and activities of the University.

In providing communication support to the University, the OVPSF established and maintained a workable computer-based university information system, information and publication services designed to provide timely information that are vital for effective performance of the University’s managerial functions such as planning, organizing, leading, and control.

The University through the OVPSF, also established strong functional linkages with local, national, and international institutions, agencies, private and government to support the University’s four-fold thrusts. This is the University’s trust in providing high-quality education, producing a globally competitive young generation of professionals, and transforming our society towards Agro-industrialization and Development.
