With a purpose to continually provide quality programs and services in compliance with international standards, two (2) campuses of Isabela State University (ISU) namely, ISU Jones and ISU Ilagan passed their respective surveillance audits to hopefully receive its certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO provides a process-oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities, and procedures required to achieve effective quality management in organizations. The audits for the said campuses were facilitated by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc. with Mr. Orlan Tiongson as lead auditor and Mr. Jimmel Alano as the technical expert.

ISU Jones passed the ISO 9001:2015 Stage 1 audit which focused on the campus’ quality management systems. On the other hand, ISU Ilagan passed the ISO 9001:2015 Stage 3 audit which covered the provision of instruction, research, and extension for higher and advanced education for the College of Education (CEd), College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT), College of Nursing (CON), and the School of Midwifery (SOM).

Dr. Edgardo B. Sario (Campus Administrator, Jones Campus) expressed his appreciation for the dedication and hard work put forth by the entire ISU Jones community in achieving the significant milestone. He commended the collaborative efforts of the faculty, staff, and heads of offices in ensuring that the institution upholds the highest standards in its academic programs and support services.

Likewise, ISU Ilagan through the leadership of Dr. Alfonso R. Simon (Executive Officer, Ilagan Campus) has committed to sustain and maintain quality and excellence in all its programs, not only in instruction but in all the thrusts (research, extension, and resource generation) of the University.
