NEWSBIT | Group of Tourism Researchers from the University of Santo Tomas is set to work with Isabela State University and the Local Government Unit of Echague, Isabela on advancing sustainable tourism for the said municipality.

In a courtesy visit by the UST group this morning (March 14), University President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino assures of ISU’s support in the promising research collaboration that would focus on the Sustainable Community-based Tourism Potential and Development of Barangay San Miguel, Echague, Isabela in the New Normal.

The project’s main objective is to assess the potential of Barangay San Miguel in Echague, Isabela, for sustainable community-based tourism in the new and next normal.

The visit is part of the eight-day on-site fieldwork, heritage mapping, and focus-group discussion of the research project from UST.(GZ-BJC-JF/UMIS-CMS)
