With continuous effort for global partnership, the Isabela State University (ISU) through the DOST-PCAARRD-ISU Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator launched a cross-visit to Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Malang, Indonesia.
The delegates from ISU led by Atty. Romano P. Cammayo (Vice President, Administrative and Finance Services) were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Imam Sentoso (Vice Rector, Academic Affairs), together with Dr. Didik Hartono (Head, International Academic Affairs), and Dr. Henny Rosalinda (Head, International Linkages). Joint research and publication, faculty and student exchange and incubation were among the areas discussed for collaboration between ISU and UB.
A visit and partnership negotiation were also conducted at the Office of the Directorate of Innovation and Science Technopark with Dr. Mohammad Iqbal (Director), together with Mr. Inggang Perwangsa Nuralam (Head, Entrepreneurship and Startup Development Center) and Mr. Brillyanes Sanawiri (Head, Center for Leading Innovation). Student incubation, technology transfer and commercialization, entrepreneurship promotion and industry-trade partnership are the areas discussed for collaboration.
The said visit is likewise initiated to execute the partnership signed between ISU and UB earlier this year.
