Isabela State University (ISU) Ilagan Campus, in collaboration with one of its industry partners, GreenAir Refrigeration, Airconditioning, and Electronics, officially sealed a partnership with the campus’ Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Department through a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on April 15, 2025.

The agreement marked the beginning of the development and deployment of the GreenAir Management System (GAMS), a web-based record management system designed specifically for GreenAir’s administrative and service documentation. The system is being developed by Mr. Julius Corales, an IT student from ISU Ilagan, under the guidance of the ICT Faculty and with the involvement of fellow students. The initiative highlights the University’s dedication to industry-academe linkages that support experiential learning and community engagement.

The event was attended by GreenAir representatives, including Ms. Karen G. Basubas (Operations Manager) and Mr. Tresforo T. Basubas Jr. (Head Technician). Representing ISU Ilagan were Engr. Alfonso R. Simon (Cluster Executive Officer), and Dr. Helen T. Asio (Extension Director). Moreover, the ICT Department was represented by Dr. Orfel L. Bejarin (Program Chair), Mr. Mark Gil T. Gangan (Adviser), Mr. Angelo R. Gamara (Project Implementer), and Mr. Julius Corales, the student-developer of GAMS.

The partnership is expected to enhance record-keeping efficiency, support sustainable, paperless solutions, and provide students with hands-on experience in system development. It is considered a milestone in ISU Ilagan’s commitment to integrating technological innovations with industry needs.
