Isabela State University (ISU) hosted 27 students for a Knowledge Exchange and Partnership Meeting to discuss the International Exchange Programme on February 20, 2025 at the Alba Hall, ISU Echague.
The said event was attended by various ISU campuses, ISU officials, and partners from the University of Zurich (UZH). The discussion is a result of the collaborative educational initiative between ISU, Philippine Normal University (PNU), and the UZH, supported by the Philippine Embassy in Switzerland.
Discussed by Mr. Rodolph K. Schlaepfer (Faculty, UZH Department of Evolutionary Anthropology), the exchange aims to promote Philippine culture by pairing Swiss and Filipino students to study the Agta (Indigenous People) Culture.
The students will collaborate on research projects, enriching each other’s learning experiences. Following the fieldwork, Filipino participants will be invited to spend one (1) to three (3) months in Switzerland to work on their scientific findings.
