The said ranking by the independent metric-based ranking organization was based on three (3) factors: 45% Research Performance, 45% Non-Academic Prominence, and 10% Alumni Score.

The University’s research profile contributed greatly to its ranking with 386 published scientific papers and 1,016 citations received. The profile covers a range of fields, including Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Political Science, Medicine, Computer Science, Law, Sociology, and Engineering.

To evaluate Research Performance, EduRank uses the OpenAlez database as a proxy to retrieve scientific publications and the links between them. For Non-Academic Prominence, the organization calculates the reputation of individual web pages with data from Ahrefs as a source with the largest available index of pages and links. Lastly, Alumni Score reflects the combined number of page views that a university’s graduates and other affiliated individuals have on all 43 language versions of Wikipedia.
