Cagayan Valley Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CVAARRD) breaks record for yet another Ugnay Award this year.

This is the 6th time that CVAARRD has been conferred as the Most Outstanding R&D Consortium for the Ugnay Awards.

The recognition was awarded early on Tuesday (December 22) during the Science and Technology (S&T) virtual Recognition and Awarding Ceremony by the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD).

The Ugnay Award is a recognition given to a regional consortium for being PCAARRD’s partner in advancing research and development as well as science and technology innovations.

CVAARRD has been long bestowed with the distinction as the first Ugnay Hall of Fame Awardee in the country, given its successive monumental achievements in R&D.

CVAARRD Chairperson and ISU President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino thanked PCAARRD for acknowledging the contributions of the consortium, and assured its commitment in continuing research excellence toward transforming communities, especially with the current challenges of time.(JF/GZ/BJC-UMIS-CMS)
