Isabela State University (ISU) co-hosted the 6th International Conference of Environmentally Sustainable Animal Industry and the 6th Animal Production International Seminar.
The said conference was spearheaded by the Faculty of Animal Science in Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Indonesia. This year’s conference is centered on the Development of Tropical Livestock Production Systems for Resilience and Sustainability. This highlights the discussion on animal production, feed and nutrition, reproduction and breeding, product technology, agribusiness, waste management, animal welfare, and integrated farming.
Speakers for the plenary session are researchers and community workers from the United States of America, Thailand, and Malaysia. In connection to this, there are more than 90 scientific papers presented during the parallel sessions.
With this, researchers from the Cagayan Valley Small Ruminants Research Center (CVSRRC) presented three (3) papers on animal production and breeding, and served as a panel in reviewing papers during the conference.
This event is part of an on-going partnership between ISU and UB in achieving excellence in instruction and research.
