
The DOST-PCAARRD-ISU Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubation program held a seminar titled “Student-Focused Technology Business Incubation” on April 15, 2025, at the CVSRRC Training Hall and via Zoom. It was attended by ISU Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness students, with the faculty of Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics Department.
This activity was part of the execution of signed agreement between Isabela State University and Universitas Brawijaya (UB), designed to equip aspiring student entrepreneurs with the essential skills and knowledge for business development.

Attendees were warmly welcomed by Dr. Jonathan N. Nayga, Program Leader of RAISE-CV, and Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, ISU Vice President for Administration and Finance Services and DOST-PCAARRD-ISU-ATBI Legal Expert, who both highlighted the vital role of students in shaping innovation and regional growth.
Dr. Aubrey Joy M. Balbin presented the ATBI program’s goals, achievements, and newly enrolled student incubatees.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, Director of Directorate for Innovation and Science Technopark at Universitas Brawijaya, shared UB’s successful student incubation model, highlighting its evolution and supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The event not only introduced students to the incubation ecosystem—it sparked their potential to become the next generation of changemakers.
