Isabela State University – College of Medicine and Allied Health Professions (ISU COM & AHP) ranked 6th among medical schools nationwide during the Philippine Association of Academic Biochemists (PAAB), Inc. Tagisan Ng Galing: Biochemistry Quiz Bee held last April 23, 2025 via Zoom Meetings.

The said inter-medical school competition highlights intellectual excellence in the basic sciences. The University was represented by Lance Bernardino, Nikko Cadornio, Jhunry Gauiran, and Jeremias Vaflor from the ISU COM & AHP Class Mausbong.

The following students were guided by Dr. Eugene John Francisco Balmores, under the academic leadership of Dr. Rowena Constantino (Chair, Department of Biochemistry).
