The University Knowledge and Technology Management proudly announces that the three complementary journals of the Isabela State University Linker are now officially registered members of Crossref, which allows research outputs to be easily found, linked, cited, and tracked across the global academic community. With this, all ISU Linker journals’ articles will now become part of a global scholarly reference linking system, enhancing accessibility and citation opportunities for our authors.
Moreover, the ISU Linker journals are also proudly indexed in the following databases: Google Scholar – the world’s largest academic search engine that boosts research article discoverability worldwide; Asian Science Citation Index (ASCI) – an indexing body that highlights the research excellence of Asian scholars, connecting Asian journals to the global academic community and improving visibility of growing research network; EuroPub – a comprehensive, multidisciplinary indexing database in Europe that promotes international readership and cross-border academic collaboration; and Index Copernicus International – an international, multidisciplinary indexing database that evaluates the quality and impact of scientific journals and enhances its global visibility and credibility, making it easier for journals to attract wider readership and citations.
This remarkable achievement has been made possible through the collective support and commitment of the Isabela State University administration, headed by Prof. Dr. Boyet L. Batang (University President), together with the Vice Presidents — Prof. Dr. Orlando F. Balderama (Research and Development, Extension and Training), Prof. Dr. Precila C. Delima (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Prof. Dr. Hilda A. Manzolim (Vice President for Administrative and Finance Services), and Prof. Dr. Isagani P. Angeles Jr. (Vice President for Planning and Development). Their unified efforts, from advancing research and innovation, strengthening academic engagement, and ensuring operational sustainability, to integrating strategic directions that align with ISU’s long-term vision of research excellence, have been instrumental in realizing this milestone for the ISU Linker journals.
Under the guidance of Dr. Jennelyn L. Raymundo, University Director for Knowledge and Technology Management and Editor-in-Chief of ISU Research Journals, the KTM function of the University continues to elevate its research visibility and uphold its mission of creating knowledge that serves communities and shapes the future. Special acknowledgment is extended to Mr. Randy Acoba, Section Head for Knowledge Product Development and Publication, and Section Head of Creative Works, for his technical expertise and dedication in the successful indexing and registration processes of the ISU Linker journals. The UKTM also recognizes the support and commitment of the chief editors of ISU’s complementary journals (Prof. Edward Panganiban, Dr. Marites Castro, and Dr. Januard Dagdag), whose editorial excellence and teamwork have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.
The ISU Linker journals are steadfast in their goal to be indexed in more reputable international databases, paving the way for wider dissemination, higher citation rates, and stronger academic partnerships. These initiatives reflect ISU’s continuous efforts to elevate research standards and strengthen its global research footprint.
