Isabela State University (ISU) continues its aggressive ascent in the global academic landscape as 24 of its faculty members officially joined the Global Network of Certified Entrepreneurship Educators (CEEP) through the Wadhwani Foundation powered by ISUPORTSS, and institutional project based at College of Education. The conferment ceremony, held on February 20, 2026, at Alba Hall, marks a pivotal milestone in the University’s strategy to integrate high-impact innovation with international pedagogical standards.

The Certified Entrepreneurship Educator Program (CEEP), a specialized initiative in partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation, is designed to shift the academic focus from traditional theoretical lectures to active, experiential venture creation.

The certification equips our ‘Ignite Faculty’ to transform from traditional teachers into Venture Coaches, the program overview noted, highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering a technopreneurship ecosystem.

The 24 completers represent a diverse cross-section of ISU’s campuses, ensuring that the culture of innovation is decentralized and embedded across the system.

The ceremony featured high-level endorsements from international and local academic leaders, including William Ekaputra-Wijaya, Vice President of WEN Southeast Asia, Dr. Boyet L, Batang, University President and Mr. Lucrecio Delgado, Jr., Country Director of WEN Philippines, who presided over the awarding of Best Ventures.

This initiative directly addresses SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). By professionalizing startup coaching, ISU is not merely teaching entrepreneurship but is actively building the infrastructure for local economic resilience.

According to University leadership, the CEEP Masterclass serves as a force multiplier for ISU’s academic and extension works. By reframing traditional faculty roles into innovation catalysts, the University successfully translates academic expertise into tangible societal value.

Isabela State University (ISU) proudly recognizes its 24 Faculty Innovators who have successfully completed the Global Network Certified Entrepreneurship Educator Program (CEEP). This specialized faculty development initiative, powered by ISUPORTSS in partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation, has transformed our educators from traditional instructors into expert Venture Coaches.

By mastering modern, experiential methodologies for startup coaching, these completers are directly fueling ISU’s mission to foster a vibrant technopreneurship ecosystem and enhance our global networks for the ISU students.
