Isabela State University (ISU) earned recognition in the international academic arena after placing 59th among 311 public and private universities in the Philippines in the AD Scientific Index 2025, a global ranking system that evaluates the scientific productivity, impact, and research momentum of institutions and scholars worldwide.
The AD Scientific Index employs rigorous metrics such as the H-index, i10-index, and citation counts (both cumulative and within the last five years) to measure research performance. ISU’s standing in this year’s assessment highlights its increasing global visibility in research and affirms the university’s strong culture of innovation and scholarly excellence.
This achievement is further strengthened by the contributions of 89 ISU-affiliated scientists, with the Top 15 researchers excelling in diverse disciplines such as Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, and Natural Sciences. Their remarkable outputs not only elevate ISU’s academic reputation but also reinforce its commitment to generating knowledge that addresses both local and global challenges.
