Isabela State University (ISU) ranked 31st nationwide in the July 2024 publication of Webometrics’ Ranking of World Universities. The University climbed three (3) spots higher from its previous rank of 34th last year which also places ISU as the top University in the region.
This achievement reflects the University’s continuous efforts to improve its educational standards, research capabilities, and online engagement; and serves as a testament for the University to continue its journey towards academic and digital excellence.
The Webometrics Ranking, an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab – a part of the largest public research body in Spain, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), evaluates universities worldwide based on their web presence and impact, research output, and overall online visibility.
The ranking aims to promote academic web presence and support open access initiatives, encouraging universities to enhance their digital visibility and transparency.
As ISU celebrates this milestone, the University remains focused on its mission to provide accessible and high-quality education, foster a culture of research and innovation, and strengthen its global presence.
