NEWSBIT | More support for the start-up ecosystem will now be poured by Isabela State University as it commits to the S&T services pursued by the Synergistic, Innovative and Agile (SINAG) Cagayan Valley Consortium.

Earlier this afternoon (March 29), ISU signed partnership agreement with various agencies in the region to harmonize and strengthen start-up initiatives.

DOST-R02 will provide technical assistance and funding for machinery and equipment acquisition thru the DOST’s Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP).

The agency will also assist in the product standardization of the startups’ products thru subsidies or discounts in testing fees, provide access to mentoring thru its Food Safety Consultancy Program and Consultancy for Cleaner Production Technology and grants-in-aid (GIA) for research, development, training, and expansion projects.
