Isabela State University (ISU) held the Oathtaking Ceremony for newly-hired and promoted employees alongside the Professorial Conferment Ceremony on July 24, 2024 hosted by the ISU San Mateo campus. The ceremonies highlighted the University’s commitment to excellence in education and professional development leading to efficient public service.
The two (2) events recognized the individual achievements of the University’s employees (both teaching and non-teaching) and also symbolized their critical role as educators and staff in shaping the future of the University and contributing to the educational landscape of the Philippines.
The 395 attendees recited the Oath of Office, administered by Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino (University President), which marked the continuation of the ISU community towards its academic, administrative, and research initiatives, fostering an environment of lifelong learning.
Following the Oathtaking Ceremony in the morning, the afternoon proceeded to the Professorial Conferment. The said recognition was given to seventy (70) faculty members who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their respective fields through research, teaching, and community service.
The conferment ceremony was officiated by Dr. Aquino along with Dr. Boyet L. Batang (Vice President for Academic Affairs) and Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo (OIC, CHED Regional Office 2) who served as the guest of honor of the event.
Through this celebration, the University reinforced its mission as a nurturing ground for talent and innovation and stays true to its commitment to foster an environment of service that remains to contribute to the development of the region.
