Dr. Myleen R. Corpuz, a faculty member of Isabela State University (ISU) and the Center Director of the Cagayan Valley Cacao Development Center (CDCVC) was awarded as the Most Outstanding Educator in Agricultural Research and Innovation during the 3rd POTTE Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Guro of the Philippine Organization for TLE and TVL Educators, Inc. (POTTE).

 

The award was received by Dr. Corpuz in line with the 6th POTTE National Convention with the theme, “Tech-Voc for Lifelong Learning: Trends and Updates in Teaching Home Economics, ICT, Industrial Arts, and Agri-Fishery Arts”, last December 6-8, 2024 at the Cebu Technological University.

 

Dr. Corpuz ranked first among 143 nominees across secondary and higher education institutions in the Philippines under the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

 

The criteria considered for the selection of awardees include: Impact of Research (25%), Innovation and Creativity (20%), Methodological Rigor and Ethical Integrity (20%), Research Translation into Practice (15%), Mentorship and Advocacy in Research (10%), and Professional Growth and Future Directions (10%).
