Isabela State University (ISU) with the Commission on Audit (COA) conducts a five-day onsite training on the Enhanced Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS) and Electronic Budget System v2.1 for National Government Agencies from June 16-20, 2025 at the ISU Echague Campus.

The training for eNGAS and the eBudget System v2.1 focuses on the computerized system used by government agencies in the Philippines for financial transactions and reporting. The training session will equip ISU personnel with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the system for accounting, budgeting, and other financial processes.

The training also aims to enhance transparency, productivity, and accountability in government financial management by transitioning from manual to automated systems. 

After the training, it is envisioned that ISU will have improved accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, reduced errors and increased efficiency in financial processes, enhanced transparency and accountability in government spending, and ensure alignment with the Philippine Public Sector Accounting Standards (PPSAS) and the Revised Chart of Accounts.
