Isabela State University (ISU) conducted a comprehensive revision of its 2025 Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget (GPB) on January 9, 2025 at the De Venecia Hall, ISU Echague Campus. The said revision was guided by observations from the Philippines Commission on Women (PCW).

The event was attended by GAD Coordinators from ISU campuses including Echague, Cabagan, Cauayan, Ilagan, San Mateo, Roxas, Angadanan, San Mariano, and Palanan – that all focused on giving recommendations on financial reviews, improved data management, and gender mainstreaming in extension programs.

The agenda of the meeting included crafting a strategic plan to establish child-minding facilities to aid student parents. It also highlighted the importance of legal and healthcare education across ISU campuses.

Notable upcoming events of the University related to GAD are geared towards fostering a more inclusive and gender-responsive educational environment.

All involved campuses are tasked to finalize and submit their revised GAD reports and budget plans to align with the revised guidelines and initiatives discussed during the meeting.
