The Isabela State University (ISU) – College of Medicine and Allied Health Professions (COM&AHP) was accepted to the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges, Inc. (APMC). The acceptance notice was received by the said college on March 22, 2024 through Dr. Rowena M. Constantino (Faculty, Pediatrics) after a series of accreditation and interview processes that started in December 2023.
The acceptance to the association ushers the college to networks and partnerships with other medical schools in the Philippines for further collaboration and participation in local and international events and activities.
By being a part of the APMC, students of the college can join the APMC – Student Network which is the alliance of Filipino medical students and student councils further initiating the sharing of best practices and experiences within the medical school community.
Upcoming activities to be participated by the COM&AHP include the 7th APMC – Student Network National Convention on May 3-5, 2024 and the 56th APMC Annual Convention in June 2024 where the said college will be formally introduced and accepted to the association.
