
Isabela State University (ISU) together with the Commission on Human Rights (CHR Philippines) conducted an Orientation Program for the Proposed Establishment of the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE).
The orientation aimed to engage key stakeholders in shaping the vision and foundational goals of the proposed Center within the University campuses by way of a Memorandum of Agreement with the CHR Philippines. Through this, ISU is envisioned to become a catalyst in advancing human rights education and advocacy in the University and the region.
The said event was attended by student leaders from the Supreme Student Council Federation (SSCF) and Gender and Development (GAD) focal persons within the ISU System. Topics during the event include Human Rights 101 and Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313).
