Isabela State University welcomes SM Corporation in forging a new academic partnership and a valuable public-private venture following the official signing of memorandum of agreement between the said institutions on Wednesday, December 21.

The partnership allows for the internship of students to the host agency, which could provide a promising work environment for them and increasing the quality of the employment experiences of ISU’s students in professional fields.

The management of the SM Corporation recognizes Isabela State University as an academic partner in creating a better future the youth, as shared by Ms. Shiela Marie D. Estabillo, Regional Operational Manager.

“Through the years, top talents from your institution have joined us, demonstrating their values and skills. By forging out partnership, we will be able to stay true to our commitment in supporting the academe by creating avenues where students can explore their passions and become the future trailblazers and leaders for our nation”, Ms. Estabillo said.

University President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino expressed his gratitude on the SM Corporation and ensured the university’s commitment to the partnership.

“A profound appreciation to SM for this partnership. Thank you for trusting Isabela State University as your partner. Rest assured that the ISU is committed to work with you on this particular agreement, and build a better relationship for our students” said, Dr. Aquino.

The partnership signing between the Isabela State University and SM Corporation shines arrays with the theme: Building sustainable partnership for community development, which was hosted by Isabela State University Echague Campus.
