The Civil Service Commission Region 02 (CSC R02) recognized employees and researchers of Isabela State University (ISU) during the Regional Awards Rites for Outstanding Government Workers at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) R02 Multi-Conference Hall, Tuguegarao City on September 10, 2024.
The said regional rites under the Honor Awards Program (HAP), aims to recognize civil servants with outstanding contributions and display of exemplary behavior. The conferment of the honor awards seeks to motivate or inspire government employees to improve the quality of their performance and instill deeper involvement in public service.
The search culminates with the recognition and conferment of awards to deserving public servants during the celebration of the anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service every September.
The University nominated one (1) individual and two (2) groups under the Presidential Lingkod Bayan and CSC Pagasa Awards. The Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award is conferred to an individual or group for exceptional or extraordinary contributions resulting from an idea or performance that had nationwide impact. On the other hand, the CSC Pagasa Award is given to an individual or group for their outstanding contributions that directly benefit more than one (1) department of the government. Group Category: ISU Cagayan Valley Cagayan Valley Cacao Development Center
Regional Awardee – CSC Pagasa Award:
Group Category: ISU Cagayan Valley Small Ruminants Research Center
In continuation, the ISU Cagayan Valley Cagayan Valley Cacao Development Center (CVCDC) was included in the list of national semi-finalists under their respective category which will undergo in another series of evaluation processes to determine the final list of national awardees.
