Isabela State University (ISU) has consistently demonstrated its commitment to promoting local arts and heritage by supporting its numerous performing groups, such as choral groups, dance troupes, and music ensembles/band, by actively participating in various public artistic and cultural performances, activities and competitions in music, dance, and other art form.
One such group is the Skilled, Talented and Enthusiastic Performing Students, or simply the STEPS Dance Troupe, which performs at numerous university events, local festivals, and community gatherings. Their performances serves not only to entertain but also to promote the richness of Filipino dance traditions. The University, through it performing groups like the STEPS Dance Troupe, highlights its dedication to preserving and celebrating local traditions while fostering creativity and talent among its students.
