The Angadanan Junior High School was founded by former Mayor Eduardo B. Domingo on August 14, 1946.

In 1962, the Angadanan High School was converted into Angadanan Vocational High School. It was converted into a National School by virtue of R.A. 3438

On June 24, 1983 the Angadanan Vocational High School was converted to Angadanan Agro-Industrial College (AAIC) by virtue of Batas Pambansa Blg. 537. In 202, AAIC was integrated to ISU  in accordance with the provision of RA No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”  favorably endorsed by ISU-Board of Regents under (BOR) Resolution No. 73 of 1999.

Goals

The Criminology program shall provide the community with professionally competent and morally upright graduates who can deliver efficient and effective services in crime prevention, crime detection and investigation, law enforcement, custody and rehabilitation of offenders and conduct criminological research on the nature and causes of crime.

Objectives
  • Foster the values of leadership, integrity, accountability and responsibility while serving thier fellowmen.
  • Prepare the students for careers in crime prevention, law enforcement, scientific crime detection and correctional administration.
  • Encourage research and inquiry on the nature, causes treatment or punishment of criminal behaviour and how criminal justice agencies respond to crime, criminals and victims.
