Culture and Arts Center
Various activities towards culture promotion and preservation are initiated in the University System. These include celebration of the Buwan ng Wika, Cultural Arts Festival, among others, all showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage.
UNESCO Dream Center
ISU has been identified as the UNESCO Dream Center in the region. The center employs integrated development approach to improve the quality of life in countryside through research and cultural related activity which is one of the thrusts of ISU, an institution of higher learning mandated to perform the four-fold function of Instruction, Research, Extension and Production.
Graduate Diploma in Cultural Education (GDCE)
In 2015, ISU has successfully implemented Level II of its third batch of scholars from the provinces of Region 02. There were five scholars from Cagayan; 22 from Isabela; 2 from Quirino: and one from Nueva Vizcaya, for a total of 30 participants. This program has started in 2012, in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
