A two-hectare Deed of Land donation to ISU Santiago was approved during the regular session of the City Councilors of Santiago yesterday, February 1.
University and Campus officials in the persons of Dr. Juanito P. Rosini, VP for Planning, MIS, External Affairs/Linkages, and Public Relations, Dr. William R. Eustaquio, Executive Officer of ISU-Echague, Dr. Hilda A. Manzolim, Director for Instruction, Engr. Edmundo A. Obiña, University Director for Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Gilbert M. Eustaquio, Campus Coordinator of ISU-Santiago, and Kristian Paul Lazo, faculty of ISU-Santiago attended the regular session yesterday and successfully defended before the city councilors of Santiago the donation of the said lot where ISU Santiago will be permanently established. The said lot is located at Sitio Gunot, Rizal, Santiago City.
Meanwhile, a proposed 20-million Academic Building will be initially constructed in the site in 2019 which will be charged from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) Fund.
It can be known that ISU-Santiago Extension was situated at the City Hall for one year and later relocated at Balintokatok, Santiago City for six years. At present, ISU-Santiago extension is located at National Irrigation Administration (NIA) compound at Batal, Santiago City.
